RAI Amsterdam is thrilled to announce the first edition of GreenTech North America. Set to take place on Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 of September 2026 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. This premier trade show will focus on sustainable and high-tech horticulture solutions, bringing together major producers and growers. Which includes those of flowers and vegetables from across the United States and Canada. The goal is to showcase innovations, share knowledge, and create business opportunities in the horticulture industry.

Event overview

GreenTech North America will connect industry leaders, innovators, and growers to shape the future of sustainable horticulture. With 90 exhibitors and over 1,000 expected attendees, it offers a premier platform with a dedicated knowledge program, networking and business opportunities. Growers specializing in high-value crops such as vegetables, soft fruits, ornamentals, leafy greens, and medicinal plants are the primary audience.
Philadelphia is strategically chosen for its accessibility to five states and proximity to key consumer markets. The city’s location makes it an ideal destination for both national and international participants.

Industry support & partnerships

The show is supported by leading associations such as CEA Alliance, FarmTech Society, the Resource Innovation Institute, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, Honorary Consul Philadelphia, Kingdom of the Netherlands and Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Tom Stenzel, Executive Director of the Controlled Environment Agriculture Alliance says: “We’re pleased to hold our fall board meeting alongside GreenTech North America 2026. As the leading trade association representing vertical farms, high-tech greenhouse producers, and their business partners, we look forward to this opportunity for industry growth and innovation.”

Why GreenTech is expanding to North America

Market research shows strong growth potential for high-tech Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) in North America, driven by expansion & refitting opportunities, over 47,000 greenhouse operators and annual growth rates of 5–7%.

Key stakeholders have expressed strong interest in a dedicated GreenTech event tailored to the unique challenges and innovations of North American horticulture.

Strengthening the global GreenTech community

Mariska Dreschler, Director GreenTech Global says: “GreenTech North America is launched to meet the growing demand for a dedicated platform tailored to the region. It brings together sustainable and high-tech horticulture solutions, aiming to accelerate innovation and collaboration across the sector. Building on the success of GreenTech Amsterdam and GreenTech Americas, this new edition strengthens GreenTech’s global role in connecting the horticulture community and addressing regional needs with international expertise.”
