A treatment against red palm weevil and pine processionary caterpillars, plants that aid in dune regeneration, birdhouses that support biodiversity, or a small garden with species resistant to high temperatures—vital for protecting green spaces in case of fire. Many of the innovations presented at Iberflora are aimed at enhancing biodiversity and caring for the environment, a key mission for the green sector, which is currently showcasing its full range and trends at Feria Valencia, the leading trade fair in the industry.
From the Dutch brand Elho, they emphasize that everything is made from recycled plastic. Examples include birdhouses, feeders and drinkers, and insect hotels, designed to improve biodiversity in both natural and urban settings. Equally noteworthy is the innovation by Syngenta TreeCare, revolutionizing the protection of palms and pines with an automatic micro-injection anti-pest system that eliminates threats like red palm weevil and pine processionary, without harming the environment, people, or animals.
At Iberflora, sustainability takes center stage and innovation guides all exhibitors who want to showcase products that set them apart. Vivers Alomá, for example, specializes in plants for dune regeneration, contributing to the renaturalization and recovery of coastal landscapes. Meanwhile, the Parks and Gardens Delegation of the Valencia City Council collaborated with Iberflora by presenting species resistant to high temperatures, which help in case of fire and are adapted to the local climate—an example reinforcing urban tree safety, sustainability, and resilience.
The second day of Iberflora concluded with business remaining the main focus. Stands full of professionals, meetings, and networking once again established Iberflora as the must-attend event for the sector nationally, consolidating its position as a major international benchmark.
