The 16th edition of Poultry India Expo 2024, South Asia’s largest poultry exhibition, concluded on a high note on November 29, 2024, at the HITEX Exhibition Complex, Hyderabad.

Held from November 27 to 29, the event witnessed an impressive turnout of over 40,000 attendees, including poultry farmers, industry professionals, and policymakers from around the globe, solidifying its position as a landmark gathering for the poultry sector.
The Expo was inaugurated by Dr. O.P. Chaudhary, Joint Secretary, Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (DAH&D), Government of India. Dr. Chaudhary highlighted the vital role of the poultry sector in ensuring food security and rural employment in India.  Mr. Uday Singh Bayas, President of IPEMA/Poultry India, emphasized the industry’s significance, stating: “The poultry sector is pivotal in addressing India’s protein needs and sustaining rural livelihoods. Urgent policy support is needed to manage rising input costs, particularly feed, to ensure the industry’s sustained growth.”
This year’s Expo featured over 400 exhibitors from more than 15 countries, showcasing cutting-edge innovations in poultry science, advanced equipment, animal health solutions, and sustainable management practices. The event provided attendees with insights into emerging trends and future developments shaping the poultry industry. Poultry India Expo 2024 served as a dynamic platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and showcasing advancements in poultry production, health, nutrition, and feed technology.

Attendees explored innovative solutions to pressing industry challenges, such as supply chain disruptions, environmental sustainability, and disease management. The event fostered collaboration between stakeholders, enabling industry leaders, scientists, and researchers to brainstorm innovative ideas. Discussions covered diverse topics, including gut health, feed hygiene, and advanced formulations to enhance animal productivity. Participants unveiled new products and technologies aimed at improving operational efficiency and driving sustainability. Interactive sessions enriched the experience, allowing professionals to gain in-depth knowledge on topics like advanced nutrition and cutting-edge health management strategies.

The 16th Poultry India Expo, organized by IPEMA and supported by national organizations like NECC, CLFMA, INFAH, and regional poultry associations, has solidified its reputation as a premier platform for innovation and collaboration.

Guided by the Executive Advisory Committee (EAC), the event showcased the sector’s resilience and potential, reinforcing its role as a cornerstone of India’s agricultural economy.
