GreenItaly 2025 Opens in Parma with UAE Delegation Participation
ShareShareShareShareShare

The much-anticipated GreenItaly 2025 exhibition officially opened today at PalaVerdi, Parma, bringing together the global horticulture and landscaping community for three days of innovation, networking, and knowledge exchange.

Recognized as Italy’s premier event dedicated to horticulture, landscaping, and sustainable green innovation, the 2025 edition of GreenItaly runs from October 15–17, drawing leading international professionals, policymakers, and industry pioneers who share a common goal — advancing the global green economy through technology, creativity, and environmental responsibility.

Focus on “Made in Italy Green Genius”

Franco Mosconi, President of Fiere di Parma

This year’s theme, “Made in Italy Green Genius,” celebrates Italian excellence in sustainable design, technology, and green thinking. The show highlights how Italy’s craftsmanship and innovation are redefining urban spaces, creating smarter, more resilient environments that balance aesthetics with sustainability.

The exhibition features a broad spectrum of participants — from manufacturers and landscape designers to environmental planners and technology providers — all showcasing solutions that promote greener living and efficient resource use.

Workshops and technical seminars are being held throughout the event, focusing on new skills in ecological planning, smart irrigation systems, AI applications in horticulture, and the professional development of the next generation of “green” experts.

UAE Delegation Strengthens Bilateral Green Cooperation

Among this year’s international participants is a business delegation from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), organized by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA). The UAE delegation’s participation reflects the growing collaboration between Italy and the Gulf region in sustainable agriculture, landscaping, and environmental innovation.Members of the delegation are exploring opportunities to partner with Italian companies and technology providers, focusing on knowledge transfer, sustainable product sourcing, and the adoption of climate-resilient practices suitable for arid regions.

Speaking at the inauguration, event organizers highlighted the vital role of international partnerships in driving ecological transition, noting that the UAE’s commitment to sustainability aligns closely with the principles underpinning GreenItaly’s mission.

Innovation and Sustainability at the Forefront

Throughout the three-day event, GreenItaly 2025 showcases a wide array of cutting-edge technologies and products, including smart landscape systems, energy-efficient machinery, eco-friendly materials, and advanced horticultural solutions.

B2B networking sessions provide exhibitors and visitors a platform to discuss trade, share expertise, and identify opportunities in the fast-evolving green sector. The event also underscores Italy’s leadership in sustainable innovation. According to the GreenItaly Report, companies investing in green technologies consistently outperform competitors in exports, turnover, and employment growth — reaffirming the strong link between environmental responsibility and economic success.

A Platform for Global Collaboration

GreenItaly 2025 serves as a bridge between innovation and implementation, promoting a collective approach to ecological progress. With participation from multiple nations, the exhibition reinforces the need for cross-border cooperation to accelerate sustainability goals and strengthen the green economy globally.
